Author’s Closing Thoughts

Ah, I just realized I forgot to write a closing note—better get one down quickly.

It’s been four years since I started writing Sword of Dawn, and now the story has finally reached a natural pause. The biggest feeling I have is a deep awareness that I’m definitely not as young as I used to be. Writing for long hours leaves me mentally drained, and sitting for so long has taken a toll on my neck and shoulders. But thankfully, I managed to see it through to the end. That’s something to celebrate—truly a cause for joy.

Now, I can finally take a break. And so can Gawain and his friends.

I’ve already started sketching out the next book—its world and main storyline have been taking shape for a few months now. Some of you might even have caught wind of it. In any case, stay tuned—it’s bound to be another fun and engaging story.

But before that, let me rest for a couple of months, heal my neck and shoulders, spend time with my family, and recharge—after all, your big-eyed author isn’t the same young person from over a decade ago…

And now, the traditional closing line—
